Vision Statement
The Bible teaches without vision people will perish. (Prov 29:18) God gives to every individual and family a distinct purpose for existing. To reach their full potential, they must have a vision of what their purpose is for them. Likewise, each church has a divine purpose for existing and must have a clear understanding of their God given vision to fulfill their destiny. God has progressively revealed a clear vision for New Life Ministries through the direction of the Holy Spirit and its covering Pastors. The vision has been confirmed through years of receiving prophetic word from powerful anointed preachers of the Word.
Philosophies of Ministry of New Life Ministries
Prayer- God’s house is to be a House of Prayer. For this the people at New Life Ministries gather together before every service in prayer to prepare their hearts before the Lord. God’s people are to be a people of prayer. Daily devotions are essential to the existence of every believer and every family. (Isaiah 56:7, Romans 12:12, Philippians 4:6, Colossians 4:2)
Worship- “God is spirit and they that worship Him, must worship in spirit and in truth.” Therefore worshipping God is central at New Life Ministries. Worship that really pleases God is wholehearted and is a celebration of the life we have in our risen Lord. (John 4:24, Psalms 86:12, Psalms 100:4, Psalms 104:1,2)
Giving- Giving is a divine principle as well as an essential part of God’s nature. When we participate in giving, we display an attitude of love, obedience and trust in Him. At New Life Ministries, we bring our tithes and offerings to the Lord and present them before Him as an act of worship. (Leviticus 27:30-33, Deuteronomy 12:4-14, Malachi 3:6-10, Matthew 6:19-21, Luke 6:30, 2 Corinthians 9:6)
Biblically Structured Families- The success of the family is a vital key to the success of the church. Therefore, the family must have Godly principles upon which it is built. God has delegated the responsibility of loving leadership to the man of the house. He has given the man a help meet, that while being in submission to him, will help him fulfill the God given calling upon his family. The children are to be in subjection to the parents and to give them honor. The family is to be in essence a miniature church, thus reflecting the values of the local church to which they belong. (Genesis 2:18, Genesis 2:24, 1 Corinthians 11:3, 1 Peter 3:7, Ephesians 5:22-29, Genesis 1:27-28, Ephesians 6:1-4)
Reconciliation- The body of Christ is to be one with Christ and with each other. There is no room in the body for prejudices of any kind. The church is a place where one can come from any ethnic, cultural, or social background and receive the love that is poured from vessel to vessel without any partiality. The body being many members, from many backgrounds, must move together in the unity that comes only from the finished work of Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “that they may be one, even as we are one.” (Jn. 17:11,22-23, Psalms 133:1-3, 1 Corinthians 12:14-27, James 2:1-9, John 4:7-8 John 4:20-21, Mark 3:34-35)
Order- The corporate meeting is a place of spiritual life and order. God has placed the responsibility for order upon the leadership. We encourage everyone to join the leadership as they lead in the corporate expression of worship and to honor the guidelines of the leadership in the flow of the service. (1 Corinthians 14:32,33,40)
Centrality of the Word- The sermon has a real place of prominence at New Life Ministries because we believe it to be powerful and able to change people’s lives. To us the Word of God is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. (Psalms 33:4-6, Psalms 119:11, Psalms 119:89, Psalms 119:105, Psalms 138:2, John 15:7, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Hebrews 4:12)
A Strong Committed Membership- People whom God has planted at New Life Ministries are family, committed to strengthening and building up one another in faith, and to helping each other realize their full potential in God. (Psalms 68:6, Psalms 92:13-14, Proverbs 27:8, 2 Corinthians 12:18, Ephesians 4:16)
Church Government- The governmental structure of New Life Ministries is Theocratic. It Begins with a Senior Pastor who has a team of elders working with him. (Numbers 11:14-17, Acts 20:17, Acts 20:38, 1 Timothy 5:17-21, Hebrews 13:17, 1 Peter 5:1-3)
Education- We are committed to the education and training of Biblical values in order that the Kingdom of God may be extended to this generation and those of generation to come. (Proverbs 22:6, Matthew 24:35, 1 Timothy 4:7, 2 Timothy 2:15)
Missions- A vital part of our vision is to reach out to people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We actively seek opportunities to plant churches at home and abroad, Our approach to obeying the commission Jesus gave in Matthew 28:19 is to plant local churches wherever doors are open for us. We also seek to maintain an ongoing relationship and ministry exchange with those churches and ministries planted. (Matthew 16:18, Matthew 28:18-20, John 6:38-40, Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 14:12, 2 Corinthians 11:28, Ephesians 1:22-23)
Affiliation- It is our desire to establish and maintain relationships with other churches and ministries throughout the world who have a similar vision and philosophy. (Amos 3:3, Galatians 6:10, Ephesians 3:14-15)
